PHP General :: Suggest TExt - Filter results?

Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.

I have a table of parts and I want to only show those parts in the suggest text wizard that are marked as available - there is a status field which will havea value of 1 if it is available. Is there anyway to do this?

As I had no reply I worked out how to do it myself - providing you are using MySQL 5 or above. They support view, so one can define a view easy enough which is distinct and filtered. Views are most useful as they can be very complex.

For some reason - and this is what confused me - Dreamweaver on the databases tab will not show the view, but will show it as a table! So you can link the suggested text to the "table".

I hope this is helpful to anyone else.
