MX Shop Forum :: Creating more than one new shipping rate?
This thread was displayed: 0 times
Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.
For more information about the affected products visit: www.interaktonline.com/Support/

Sorry if this is already covered in the forum but I can not find it.
I created a new shipping rate as described in the manual (customizing mx shop page 30) and then selected the new shipping rate in the kart properties. Works fine. I then added a second shipping rate and selected it in the kart properties as well.
When the user checks out of the cart I want to give the user a drop down to select the rate. How do I do this? The cart only seems to apply the last rate i added to the myshippingRates.inc.php file.
Example:
Standard $0 - $50 dollars; shipping is $3.00
4 day express $0 - $50 dollars; shipping is $7.00

Hello,
I'm sorry but we cannot help you with this one as it involves fairly complex custom code and we do not offer commercial support anymore and are low on resources. However, maybe someone else reading this forum might be able to help.
Regards,

I'm in the same boat sort of where I need a custom shipping solution.
I don't want the shipping to be based on wt. however, just what the user selects in the pull down. ie UPS Overnight = $22, UPS Ground = $5, .............
If I set the weight to 0, it does not register, if set to any # the rate is adjusted by the weight.
I'll try to help you if I can. Any Ideas for me.
Jim
