KTML for .NET Forum :: disabling default paragraph tag
This thread was displayed: 539 times
Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.
For more information about the affected products visit: www.interaktonline.com/Support/

When the KTML editor is submitted blank, it still contains a paragraph tag with a non-breaking space: <p> </p>. How do you disable this so that it submits only a blank string?

Hello,
We are aware of this issue. That paragraph is necessary for KTML in order to manage the content correctly and it is added automatically aorund the initial content (even if empty).
Normally, the extra <P> tag should be removed at submission time. We've received similar complains from other clients, though and we are not yet sure if this is related to a bug in our code or with a configuration problem from your environment.
Please provide a test URL where to see the problem, if you can.
regards,
Ionut
