MX Dynamic Table Sorter Forum :: date format

Starting with 17th May 2007, Adobe Systems will stop offering support for any version of the discontinued InterAKT products. As a result, we will not answer to new support incidents starting with May 17th, 2007. Pending support incidents will still be followed in order to be closed. The product forums will remain open and be transformed in user-to-user forums. The general forums will be made read-only and not allow new posts or comments.

Hi there
I have produced a report table using the MX Dynamic table sorter extension. My client loads the information into the MySQL data base, which includes dates. The date appears as, for example, 24-Apr-06 in the original table that the client uses to load to the database, but when it appears in the report table on the browser it changes to 24/04/2006. As the client wants to be able to sort and search by the month is there any way around this?
Can anyone help?

Hello Janet,
If you want to search by the date, you could you a NeXTensio List.
However, the "24-Apr-06" date format is not supported. If you want to use this format and seacrh by month, you need to keep the dates as strings in VARCHAR fields instead of DATE fields.
